Feel-Good Foods for Fall

If you plan on spending much of the fall season sitting on the couch watching football on your http://www.direct.tv/ satellite you’ve at least got to eat well. There are some great feel-good foods this time of year so skip the potato skins and munch on some of these healthy, cathartic foods
Cranberries – They’ve got more antioxidants than almost any other fruit but they’re easy to cook with and versatile, too. They’re especially cheap this time of year so snack on them dried, baked into something, or in sauce form. It’s your call.
Pumpkin – The funny thing about the benefits of pumpkin are that the fruit/veggie is best when eaten alongside cinnamon. Cinnamon has long been touted as an appetite suppressant and it’s got a lot of good endorphin-boosting radicals, too, so chow down.
Apples – Tis the time of year for the fruit that supposedly keeps the doctor away. Apples are especially rich in fiber so they’ll keep you full longer and the keep fresh longer than many other fruits. Buy them in bulk and even dry them for a crunchy snack.
