Easy Visualization Exercises You Can Try at Home

Visualization exercises are great for anyone needing a quick stress reliever. Visualizations are simple, effective, and take as little as five minutes. There are no rules about visualizing; it’s all about what works for you. There are however, some simple exercises you could follow that may make the process easier.

The first step is to get in a comfortable posture. You could sit in a chair, sit in a lotus position, lie down, or get in your favorite yoga position. Once you found a position you are comfortable with, close your eyes and take few deep breaths.

Once you feel settled in, visualize about any place you would like to be at. This could be a natural scenery like a beach, forest, or a garden. You may also revisit a pleasant childhood memory. The location does not even have to be a physical place on earth. It can be a sacred place like heaven. Try surrounding yourself with your loved ones, angelic beings, fairies, or you may be by yourself if you prefer.

Maintain the visualization for as long as you like. Remember that this is not a chore, and that the main idea is to just let loose and have fun with the exercise.
